HAIWOOL BOARD
Haiwool board is manufactured in a wet forming process using Haiwool bulk and binders. Haiwool board is designed for insulation applications experiencing vibration, mechanical stress and erosive forces. Haiwool board can reduce energy costs and cycling times due to high insulating capability, as well as providing stability to the entire refractory lining system.
Features Typical Applications
Excellent thermal shock resistance Furnace hot face lining in petrochemical furnace
Can be machined, cut and shaped easily Furnace hot face lining in ceramic kiln
High compressive strength and rigidity Back-up insulation to dense refractory linings
Low thermal Conductivity and heat storage Molten metal transfer
Light weight Expansion joints
